More from Easter

She had so much fun on Easter; Papa, Namma, Aunt Leslie, Uncle Brent, Boo Boo and G.G. came down to stay.  After we hunted eggs, we got dressed and went to brunch.  She loved her dress and said she was a princess.  I wish I would've gotten it in a few more sizes - it really was cute.

Easter Egg Hunt

The Easter Bunny may have gone slightly overboard with eggs this last April.  She chose her own Easter basket, of course it has Woody and Buzz on it, helped pick out her dress and got lots of stickers, M&Ms and pennies in her eggs.  In case you're curious, we were still playing egg hunt this summer.

Good Buddies

Livia's buddy, Kai, is one of her favorite friends.  They go to Discovery Days together, Mom's Morning Out together and we do Jump 4 Joy together.  Luckily they get along very well most of the time.  They are one another's safety blanket.

McGrew Nature Center

In February we went to the McGrew Nature Center with a few friends on a cold, yucky days.  They did a program on wetland animals so Livia got to get up close and personal with a bunch of different creatures that Mommy didn't even want to be in the same room with.  After the class we walked around and looked at the different animals they have:  the owls and hedgehogs were her favorite.  Later in the play room Livia donned the butterfly wings.

Now, where were we?

I finally sat down and downloaded over 1,000 pictures this rainy afternoon (really I wanted to play with the new laptop!).  Okay, let's start at the beginning of the year and hit the high points.  In January Livia went to her first "concert" - Sesame Street Live!  We spent the night at the Plaza the night before we went down to the Sprint Center.  We didn't know how she would react but she had a blast:  great seats, lots of Elmo toys and lemonade.  We ended it with lunch at The Flying Saucer before she cried most of the way home before she passed out 10 miles outside of town.  It was worth to tears to see her dance with her Sesame Street friends.
