Dinner Giggles

It takes a long time to eat dinner when you get a case of the giggles but we don't mind getting off schedule for a few minutes to have some fun at dinner. I don't even remember what got her going but it was super cute. In case you're wondering, she did clean her plate.

Pavlov's Dog

Now, Mommy acknowledges that she's still got 10 - 15 pounds of baby weight to lose. Daddy does not help her cause when he buys an entire case of Thin Mint Girl Scout cookies. They are addictive...especially when they've been in the freezer for a few hours. It turns out that addiction is genetic and Livia has inherited Mommy's Thin Mint addiction and taken it a step further. Whenever she hears the freezer open she runs over for her Thin Mint. This is her walking around with one of her treats. I wonder if this would work with vegetables - for both of us!!!

Fun at the Playground

We had a few really nice, warm (for January anyway) days and so we took Livia to the playground at the school in our neighborhood. The first time I took her she really wanted to play basketball with a bunch of 5th - 6th grade boys. One of the boys let her play with the ball and told her she had cute teeth - now that was cute. We went with Daddy over the weekend and were the only ones there. We had fun kicking the ball, running, messing with our first snowball and swinging.

Mia Hamm?

Livia loves to kick the ball around; I don't know if it's on purpose or if she just gets running so fast to pick it up that she overshoots her mark. Either way, she does kind of dribble the ball. Mommy was hoping for a sport where we wouldn't get sunburned but hey, whatever gets her a scholarship!

Here, let me turn that on for you

Livia now knows how to turn on Grandpa's laptop. She's a great helper and really wants to type.

That's going to leave a mark

Picture scheduling could take on a whole new meaning now that Livia is a sprinter and usually ends up with a bruise, or in this case rug burn, on her face at least once a week. This last week she literally slid across the carpet on her forehead. Sometimes it's so hard not to laugh too! Oh well, she lived to tell the story.
