Thanksgiving at GG's

We went to GG's for Thanksgiving dinner this year. Livia was very excited - she got more jewelry, M&Ms and even smash Korie's finger in the pop-up game. We had so much fun but we missed Tyler, Courtney, Leah and Brent (yes, out of the 4 girl cousins on Namma's side 2 are married to Brents).

We're not Afraid of Friday the 13th!

The Roeslers are not of afraid of Friday the 13th - or the 13th in general! Good things tend to happen for us on the 13th: our anniversary is May 13th and Livia was born October 13th. We wouldn't even worry if Abby the black tabby walked by as we sat under a ladder.

Looking for ducks and geese

We're very lucky that our spot at the lake is near the area where the ducks and geese like to hang out. And lucky Papa has some binoculars Livia can use. We thought it would be easier to just tell Livia they were all ducks but she corrected us and told us it was a goose. She does come from a long line of bird watchers.

Our week of relaxing

Daddy was able to take the week of Thanksgiving off of work so we could relax as a family at the lake. When we got there Namma had cookies all ready to go for Livia to make. Livia helped make them, decorate and then just licked the sprinkles off when they were ready. It is the best part.

Dinosaur Roars

These little dinosaurs came with Livia's pool at the lake. Over the summer she didn't really pay attention to them but when we got to the go the lake for the week of Thanksgiving she couldn't get enough of them. She made them "roar", sat on them and just had a blast with them.

A day at Papa and Gigi's

While Mommy was in New York Livia and Daddy went to Junction City to spend the night with Papa and Gigi. Livia had a blast playing around and even sat very nicely on the fireplace to have her picture taken.

First Haircut

Livia had her first real haircut in November to try to balance out the toddler mullet. She did a great job, didn't fuss at all and even let Emily pull her hair into a little pigtail. Here's hoping she doesn't have to spend as much time in the salon as her mommy does!
