Swinging

We also went swinging at the park at the lake until Daddy had to yell at big boys who were throwing rocks. I think swinging might be Livia's favorite thing to do at the park!

Merry-go-Round

At the lake we went to play at the park where Mommy used to play. They have an old merry-go-round there (I don't think they put those in new playgrounds anymore). Livia did better than Mommy did; Mommy had to tell Daddy to stop after a few spins.

Binoculars

Grandma and Grandpa have binoculars at the lake to look for wildlife. It's one of Livia favorite things to play with at the lake.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Livia has a silly book that has a picture of a jar of chocolate chip cookies. On our way to the lake for Memorial Day weekend she asked what it was about a million times. When we stopped for lunch we got a chocolate chip cookie for dessert. She's a fan.

Rocking Chair

Bobi got Livia her own rocking chair for Easter. She loves to sit in it and "read" a book. She also tries to surf on it so we have to remind her to sit on her bottom.

Tape

Mommy is really dreading the sticker phase so to keep it at bay as long as possible we're starting with tape. I don't know if that's any better but so far so good.

Mutt n Strutt

Our humane society holds a walk every year called the Mutt n Strutt. Livia and Mommy met Uncle Tyler, Aunt Courtney and Scout to walk this year. Livia hugged lots of dogs and screamed "doggie" about a million times. It was a little swampy so she insisted on her own bottle of water. Let's just say it's a good thing there was a Gap nearby so we could get some dry clothes.

Coockoo for Clifford Crunch

Livia is now a cereal junky. Mommy tries to find cereal that's low sugar, whole grains and organic so we've ended up with Clifford Crunch. It tastes like Lucky Charms without the marshmellows (bummer). Can you tell she loves it since she's licking the bowl?

It's Still Easter

As one of our friends put it - it's Easter time until it's Christmas time when you're a little kid. Evidently their kids still hunt Easter eggs two months later too.

Livia the Helper

After Carson and Reece were so nice to help Livia in the car at Papa and Gigi's Livia paid it forward to Beckham.

Carson is a Good Big Cousin

Carson is so unbelievably sweet to his little cousin Livia; he makes sure she's okay when it snows and even turns Christmas songs into Livia songs. She's lucky he's there to back her up!

Wif and Reece

Livia's cousin Reece is just so darn cute. He calls her Wif but sometimes it's, "No Wif, no!" because she has a tendancy to want to play with everything Reece is playing with but he's always very gentle and sweet to her. Here he is helping her out in the car.

Papa and Gigi's Car

Papa and Gigi have a battery powered car for the kids and Livia really liked it over Easter; now there will be 1 more kid fighting over it! Daddy helped her for a little bit but she got the hang of it.

Easter!

We went to Junction City for Easter this year. We went to an Easter egg hunt with Papa, Gigi and her cousins. She had a blast collecting eggs and the best part is she doesn't know there's candy inside so Mommy gets to eat it!
