Let's Get Caught Up

I believe before the Christmas post we last left you with the cliff-hanger of our trip to Colorado. We had a great time, we relaxed, ate great food and Livia had so much fun with the boys. Here are a few of our favorite pictures from the trip.

Thank-you, Santa

We got a little closer to Santa this year but she still wouldn't sit on his lap. She did let Mommy hold her near Santa but she still took a candy cane. You've never heard a kid say, "Thank-you, Santa" so fast in your life!

Merry Christmas!

We hope you had a very merry Christmas! Livia didn't exactly tear into her gifts like I thought she would but she was really excited. She opened her snowman stocking and got a little sidetracked by the pack of Woody pencils - wouldn't you know it - her favorite gift was the pack of pencils I found in a random aisle at the grocery store. Even as I type she has three presents left to go!

Frisco

Our first full day in Colorado we went to Frisco after our Target run for lunch and shopping at the cool toy store. Reece was a chatter box in the car, Livia played with the train set at the toy store and Carson is still Livia's close buddy - even when she kept calling him Reece. He told his mom that it was okay. They're very sweet to her.

Birthday in Iowa

We went to Iowa to visit friends and family between Livia's birthday and our trip to Colorado. She was so excited because both Uncle Zach and Aunt Leslie brought birthday cake.

Mountain Driving

Bobi picked up Mommy and Livia from the airport in Denver to begin our Colorado adventure. She was so tired from our airport adventures that she fell asleep before we saw the big-horn sheep. At least she looked good with her jewelry in the car.

Livia and Mommy's Day of Travel

In October we went to Breckenridge for a few days. We met Daddy, Bobi, Aunt Paige, Uncle Mike, Carson and Reese. Mommy was nervous about flying by herself with Livia but Livie did such a good job. She sat in her own seat, listened well and played quietly. We have a seasoned traveler!

My New Wheels

Livia got a little car for her birthday that we keep in the basement. Sometimes we have to hide it to get her into her bath and bed. She has 4 golf tees and a set of measuring spoons that ride shot gun. It's the little things.

More Birthday? Part 2

I would say 3 or 4 mornings a week she asks me for more birthday. At this rate she'll be 100 by the time she's 2 1/2!
