Livia's baptism

Livia was baptised on May 9th at First United Methodist Church, the same church where Mommy and Daddy were married. Livia's Godmother is Jennifer (Benny) who has been friends with Mommy since elementary school. Livia's Godfather is Joe - who has been Daddy's friend since elementary school as well. She's such a lucky girl - she has many friends who care about her.

2nd weekend in May

We started the second week in May with Mommy and Livia getting sick just as people were coming into town for Livia's baptism. We weren't the only ones, poor Reece got sick on his way to see us so Aunt Paige, Uncle Mike, Carson and Reece had to go home. We missed them SO much! We celebrated on Saturday night with a cook-out at Livia's house. Livia's godmother Jennifer and godfather Joe were there with their families along with Bobi, Papa and Gigi, Grandma and Grandpa, Aunt Leslie and Uncle Brent and Uncle Zach. We had so much fun!

Uh-oh: We're officially on the move

No pictures to document the event and Mommy was upstairs doing dishes but Livia crawled a few feet tonight. Just as Bobi predicted - she was trying to get Abby the tabby cat. Let the baby-proofing begin!

While we were at the lake Livia decided she'd try to feed herself. She did a pretty good job.

Wow - it's been a long time

Sorry - Mommy fell down on the job. Let's start where we left off. The first weekend in May Mommy and Livia went to Iowa for cousin Leah's bridal shower. We picked up Grandpa and took Livia to the lake for the first time. It was hard to tell if she could see the ducks, geese or pelicans but she had fun exploring and going for walks in her "Iowa" stroller.

Visitors to Swim Class

Papa came to visit last Saturday. He had lunch with us, watched Livia inhale her lunch, went to swim class and helped Daddy put together Livie's bookcase. It was a fun day.
